Coming out on the wrong end of the numbers game

I’m a senior copywriter at IBX. For years I’ve been living a bike-centric life, but now I’m looking for new ways to get active that go beyond pedaling to work every day. On the personal side, I enjoy writing, old movies starring John Wayne, and getting lost in unfamiliar cities. Keep checking back as I share my tiny triumphs and small setbacks on the road to better health.

Hello Stephen, I am in the same place as your beginning, trying to eat better and have more activity in my life, sort of…. with no quick results. However, after reading your story you have given me inspiritaion to take things one step at a time. I am trying to stay focused on what I am doing to go in the right direction and add/change things little by little. My new manta: God took 6 days to create the universe. Why would I think I can create my universe overnight. Thank you!
