Whitney Strickland, LSW

Whitney is a Case Manager Social Worker at Independence Blue Cross with 15 years of experience in medical social work. She works with Medicare Advantage members, addressing their social determinants of health by providing resources and pragmatic solutions to improve their overall quality of life and produce positive outcomes. She is a proud alumna of West Chester University and Widener University. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc and serves as a Buddy Volunteer and Board Member of Action Wellness (formerly Action AIDS), who addresses the psycho-social needs of individuals living with HIV or at risk of acquiring HIV. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, volunteering, traveling and attending sporting events with her fiancé.
