After two years of postponements, the Blue Cross Broad Street Run will make its return to Broad Street in October.
It’s been a challenging couple of years, and it seemed like many in the Blue Cross Broad Street Run community found solace in running. So, it’s thrilling to be able to invite the Philadelphia region and beyond back to Broad Street for one of the city’s most treasured traditions.
The Blue Cross Broad Street Run returning to Broad Street is our comeback story. But we know many of you have experienced comebacks of your own. Some of you have fought illness and injuries. You may have experienced incredible losses. You’ve been isolated from friends and family. So, this race is as much a part of your comeback story as it is ours.
For this year’s Broad Street Beats playlist, we asked the running community to share their favorite songs about resilience and comebacks. We’ve compiled a playlist of upbeat, inspirational, and motivational tunes that span all genres and generations.
From Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing,” to Eminem’s “’Till I Collapse;” from Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor,” to Katy Perry’s, “Roar,” these songs will help carry you past that finish line.
Enjoy the eighth installment of the Broad Street Beats. We hope it makes you feel strong and pushes you to make this Blue Cross Broad Street Run your best one yet.
