Your employees face many choices when it comes to their health care. And with the rising cost of services, they need to be active in their health care decisions now more than ever. That’s why Independence Blue Cross (Independence) puts your employees at the center of their journey.

We view everything through our members’ eyes to better address their needs and improve their overall experience. We’ve enhanced our digital tools to ensure members better understand their benefits and get more value from their health plan.

Here are just some of the ways we’re making the member experience more engaging for your employees.

Estimate Costs and Find a Doctor

Our Care Cost Estimator and drug pricing tool, which can be accessed by logging in at ibx.com, help members find the most cost-efficient places to seek health care or prescription drug pricing, and plan for out-of-pocket expenses. The Care Cost Estimator is tied to our Find a Doctor tool, so members can see reviews and information on any network provider. Members can also view their recent claims, tax forms, and member ID Card by logging in at ibx.com.

New Mental Health and Family Planning Resources

A new Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder page brings together coverage and benefits, access to care information, as well as programs, services and other resources available to members. The new Family Planning section provides an interactive experience on the stages of starting a family and helps members understand the associated levels of care needed and coverage. Both of these new resources can be accessed by members when they log in at ibx.com.
